The producer

Growing up working on his father’s coffee farm, with a detour through the world of clothing production, Alex Ponce has been honing the craft of coffee cultivation all his life. At the age of 28, he purchased his uncle’s property in Cabañas, La Paz—his family’s place of origin. What you taste before you is the result of ten years of dedication, passion, and expertise.

Grown 1,600 meters above sea level, this lot of Pacas and Lempira is naturally processed with expert precision. On the same day they are picked, ripe cherries are placed on raised beds to dry to the required moisture content. Throughout the drying phase, the beans are hand-sorted and raked every 30 minutes to ensure the highest standard of quality and consistency.

Expect a bright, well-balanced cup with tasting notes of green apple, almond, and papaya. We hope you enjoy this elevated example of Honduran coffee.
