A brand new neighbourhood boozer for Essex Road, The Alpaca is bringing 'proper pub' energy to the Islington enclave. Taking over from The New Rose, the venue is a collaborative venture from operators Star Pubs & Bars and long-time pub bod Lucas Owen, who has returned the site to its former glory, but with a whole new lease of life. 

Offering a contemporary take on the traditional public house, The Alpaca's drinks list maintains a focus on cask ales, craft beers, local brews and coffee from Saint Coffee Roasters. Why not head down for an afternoon latte or an evening espresso martini?

HUMBLEDOUGH, SHOREDITCH, LONDON

Humbledough is London’s first vegan and gluten free cookie dough shop, specialising in cookies, raw cookie dough and speciality coffee. We partnered with Humbledough just as they opened at the beginning of 2020, creating our bespoke V-blend to pair with their alternative milk offering, Oatly. Saint Coffee Roasters supported the team with a full training day at our roastery and helped source, supply and fit their machinery. Head down to Boxpark Shoreditch to check them out.
