The producer
We’re delighted to welcome Wamuguma to our Producer Range. Wamuguma Factory has served the coffee-growing communities of the Gatundu region in Kiambu County, nestled on the slopes of the Aberdare Ranges, for more than four decades.
Rather than representing a single producer, it brings together the harvests of local farming families, reflecting the region’s unique character while supporting its wider coffee-growing community.
This peaberry lot was selected to showcase the vibrant profile Kenyan coffees are celebrated for. A natural mutation found in around 5% of coffee cherries, a peaberry develops as a single, round bean instead of two. Its dense structure is often associated with a sweeter, more concentrated cup.
Grown at high elevations in rich volcanic soils, this coffee offers exceptional clarity, lively acidity and layered sweetness. Expect notes of strawberry, pomegranate and honeycomb.
