The producer

Staying close to the seasons, and with a festive vibe on the horizon, we are excited to bring you a coffee that has some wonderfully warming flavours. This Angel filter, ‘Juanambu’, is from the municipality of Buesaco in the department of Nariño, Colombia. Situated just north of the border with Ecuador this region benefits from a high altitude and distinct micro-climate.

This is a fully washed lot, which has been fermented for 19 to 22 hours, before then being naturally and mechanically dried in a closely monitored temperature controlled environment. The result of such meticulous measures is a well balanced and clean cup that acts as a perfect profile for the Angel filter range.

You can expect familiar flavours of apple pie, orange and chocolate in your brew, alongside red fruits as would be classically expected from a coffee that represents Nariño’s quality so well. Whether you are a coffee connoisseur, or new to this whole speciality coffee experience, this coffee is the perfect example of a comfort coffee; a true hug in a mug.
