The Bushoki washing station receives coffee cherries from around 800 local farmers of the Rulindo District in Rwanda’s Northern Province. This coffee which is a Red Bourbon, is harvested from March through to July, pulped, fermented for 12-18 hours, density sorted and then dried on some of the 42 raised African drying beds available at the Bushoki washing station.

We’ve roasted this for filter & it’s really blown us away. Its strong jasmine aroma stands out when its first brewed. You can expect a delicate grape like acidity amongst strong citric flavours of tangerine or clementine. It’s a delicious coffee that’s now altered what we might expect to be grown and produced in Rwanda.
