The estate provides housing, schools, a church and clinics, creating a close-knit coffee community.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWahana is produced from the P88 variety, well suited to the unique microclimate and volcanic soils of Sumatra.  As a washed coffee from a region best known for wet-hulled processing, this lot is a rare find, showcasing Wahana’s dedication to exploring the flavours that can be achieved through time, care and investment.  Ripe cherries are washed, sorted and pulped before a 12-hour fermentation, then dried in parchment for around seven days.
